Graduate Faculty and Their Research Interests

The Department of Biological Sciences has nineteen full time faculty, six adjunct professors and one professor emeritus. The following pages, that can be accessed by a mouse click, outline their research interests and expertise. Many faculty collaborate. Thus, students can undertake projects that cross traditional biological boundaries to address contemporary issues in emerging research areas.

The best way to find out more about specific research programs is to contact faculty individually. Most faculty can be reached by telephone at 253-3000 plus extensions or by e-mail addresses as listed in faculty listing and on individual pages. We will be happy to tell you about our current projects and the availability of positions. To encourage students to visit the department, we will assist with travel costs and arrange accommodations for your visit as funds permit.

Below is the list of all graduate faculty members in alphabetical order by the last name. Each name is a link to the faculty personal page which contains a brief outline of his/her interests and research areas, as well as listing of publications and contact information. You will also be able to send e-mail message to the faculty directly from his/her page as you read it.
