Leddy Library
Logging into the Library Catalogue

By logging into "My Account" on the Library Catalogue, you can renew books, change your preferences, and create bookbags.

The first time you log in

The first time you log in, you will be asked for two things, a username and a password:

The username is your full University of Windsor email address, and the password is your library barcode (on the back of your student card). To summarize:

usernameUWin email addressnobody@uwindsor.ca
passwordbarcode21862000000000

If this does not work for you, please contact our circulation desk immediately at 519.253.3000 x3402.

Changing your password on your first login: The very first time you log in, you will be prompted to change your password. You can select any password you like, but it must be at least 7 characters long and include both letters and numbers. After you have changed your password, you will have to log in again using the new password.

Why can't I use my UWin ID and password?

Our new Library Catalogue is going through some growing pains. We're working on a process to connect to the University's ID management system so that you can use your UWin ID to log in, which we hope will be ready soon. Until then, we apologize for any inconvenience from the above.

Bookbags

Bookbags are an exciting new feature that allows you to create saved lists of books and other resources that you find in the catalogue. Bookbags are saved on the server and are permanently attached to your username so that you can go back to them anytime, anywhere. It's also possible to share bookbags. making them available for viewing to anyone on the internet, and each shared bookbag has an RSS feed so that a notification can be sent out when new items are added.
