SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Windsor Labour Arts Festival and Labour Studies Conference
The organizing committee of the 9th Windsor Labour Arts Festival has to hold the 2007 Festival in the first week of February, 2007 in conjunction with the conference “Building Bridges” sponsored by the Labour Studies Program of the University of Windsor.
In the face of globalization and other major challenges to labour and social justice, the Labour Studies conference will explore various issues currently dividing and uniting labour and social movements, and discuss current and potential strategies for improving national and international labour and social movement unity. The conference will bring together labour researchers, artists, and union and social movement leaders to examine both the sources of division and the potential for solidarity.
